International Womens Day

March 8th 2019. This was a free event celebrating International Women's Day. We had Art, Musicians, Poets, Workshops, Scouse and Cakes All playing a part in a great evening at Scrapyard Studios.

Zero Con - Zero waste Conference

26-27th January 2019. The UK's first Zero Waste conference. This took place at Make in Liverpool's North Dock. We worked with Just Little Changes on this event. There were stalls, speakers, workshops, a clothes swap and a DJ. the video from this event can be found on our home page.

Small Steps Christmas Food Bank

6th December 2018. We took a collection at the final of our 2018 Thursday events. With a live performance from the brilliant Lady Lamp. Along with a workshop.

Small Steps LGBTQ+

1st November 2018. At this event we had DJ's, a ceramics workshop and AART - Artists Against Rampant Transphobia running one too. We had Art from Larry Walker-Tonks, Jak Ross, Jonathan Beaver, Lee Valentine, Mitchell Robinson,Kevin Clarke and Melanie Menard.

Mental Health Awareness

13th September 2018. At our Mental health Awareness Event. We had live music from Andrew Shaw, Saz, Lydia Hingham, Camilla Sky, 50ft. Queenie and Jon Farrington. Workshops and Art, as well as TALK Liverpool available to offer support.

Sustainability Pop Up

2nd August 2018. This was our first collaboration with Make Liverpool, running events on the first Thursday of every month. This event explored themes of Plastic Pollution and Sustainability. We had live music from our own Andrew Shaw & Niamh Mitchell. As well as an Acoustic Performance from Cal Ruddy. Art Work and Workshops ran on the evening too.

14th - 17th June 2018. Our first event in Liverpool. We exhibited Artists exploring themes of sustainability.

Small Steps Art Activism Festival

11th May 2017. For our first event we were based in Manchester. Raising funds for Rape Crisis and The Sealife Trust. Over three venues, we had art, music, workshops. Featuring artist such as Gazelle, Bethlehem Casuals and Khanfu amongst much much more.
